How scoring works

Each drill turns your score into a reflex age. Your overall reflex age is the average of the five, and that becomes your washed %. The median player lands at a reflex age of 29, which is exactly 50% washed.

Where the numbers come from

The PC scale comes from the score distribution of real players so far: the top 10% read as 20, the median as 29, the bottom 10% as 45. Touchscreens register taps later than a mouse click, so phones get their own scale (more forgiving timing windows and a shifted reaction-time curve). The phone scale is a first estimate and will be recalibrated as phone results come in.

The drills

These are PC numbers from real players so far. Your result will move around with how warmed up you are.

Flash Reaction

A simple reaction test: click, tap or press D/F the moment the circle turns yellow. Pressing early resets the round, and anything under 100ms counts as a guess. Phones register touches later than a mouse, so phone results are rated against phone players only. Around 183ms reads as early 20s, 223ms as late 20s, and past 261ms you're in your 40s. Last Hit

Once the health bar drops below the yellow line (your auto-attack damage), you have about 0.35–0.6 seconds before your own minions take it. Hit early and you miss; hit late and it's gone. Over 91% reads as early 20s, around 78% as late 20s, and under 52% you're in your 40s. Practice last hit →

Skillshot

The enemy changes direction every half second or so. You get 10 shots in 20 seconds, and any shot you don't throw counts as a miss. On PC you aim with the mouse; on phone you tap where you want the shot to go. 7 of 10 reads as early 20s, 5 as late 20s, and 3 or fewer puts you in your 40s. Practice skillshot →

Dodge

Right-click to move on PC, or drag anywhere on phone. Skillshots start to lead your movement later in the round, and the final third comes in with no warning line at all. Getting hit 4 times reads as early 20s, 6 as late 20s, and more than 10 puts you in your 40s. Practice dodge →

Teamfight Call

Each call gives you 0.9 seconds at first and 0.5 seconds by the end. Getting it right isn't enough: slow correct engages still make you older, fast ones make you younger. Over 94% reads as early 20s, around 75% as late 20s, and under 44% you're in your 40s. Practice teamfight call →

Is "you peak at 24" real?

A 2014 study (Thompson, Blair & Henrey, PLOS ONE) looked at 3,305 StarCraft II players and found that in-game reaction speed starts declining at 24. Older players made up for it with better strategy. This test is the opposite: hands only, no macro.
